Sales are sucking, as in I've only had one sale so far. It's not about sales really, I just want some goddamn readers! A friend mentioned sci fi is hard to break into, which I wouldn't say I'm trying to break into the genre considering I write all kinds of different genre stories. But, I do see her point.
Maybe I should rework the title, perhaps the title is too long. As for the cover, well I might have to rework that also, I wanted to keep it simple and like a brochure one would get for the cruise. Perhaps I'll wait until next week to see if its picked up then start experimenting.
It's good to see that you have an upbeat attitude. It just takes a little time. I think you'll find as you add more titles you will see more sales. Since sales are cyclical when one is not selling the other will sell and vice versa. As I have 15 titles I never see a day without titles being sold.
ReplyDeleteI didn't catch it from your other posts, but publishing on Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Lulu, iBookstore and elsewhere will increase the probability that you will see more sales.
